If Dr. Ginsburg had brain crushes it would have been Elias Levita and Jacob Ben Chaim. He didn't just republish their pioneering works on the Massorah - he also told their stories with unabashed force. They saw the wrath of Christian antisemitism firsthand but still dared to engage, working with Bomberg to print Hebrew texts and teaching the holy language to Reuchlin and many others.
